Nikki Eatchel is a leading global assessment professional with more than 28 years of experience and is currently the Chief Assessment Office for Prometric. She has spent her career focused in the areas of assessment development and psychometrics as well as the expanded and complex suite of activities involved in the design, development, and growth of global assessment programs. She has served in Chief leadership positions for these areas in a number of large-scale, international organizations. In her positions she has worked in various testing segments, including K-12, Higher Education, Certification and Licensure, Pre-Employment and Workforce Development.
She has designed and implemented thousands of assessment products with traditional approaches (such as multiple choice, drag and drop, hot spots, etc.) as well as innovative designs including emulations, simulations, performance-based tasks, and virtual reality assessment instruments. She has been personally responsible for ensuring the validity, fairness, and equity of large-scale, global programs as well as statewide clients, working in some capacity with all 50 states within the U.S. and extensively in the within Europe, Central America, India, the Middle East, North Africa, and Southern Asia.
Nikki is active in numerous industry associations. She was the Chair of the Board for the Association of Test Publishers (ATP) in 2017 and has also served as the Chair of the ATP Security Committee from 2011-2014. She has presented over 60 papers and presentations at such conferences as the Association of Test Publishers (ATP), E-ATP, the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO), the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE) the International Personnel Management Association (IPMA), Association for Talent Development (ATD) and the Council on Licensure, Enforcement, and Regulation (CLEAR).
