Staci Mason, MPhil, CPM, is the Director of Operations in the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) at the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). In this role, she focuses on development, deployment, and evolution of business operations, administration, and technical support to help ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of medical school application programs, products, and services. Prior to this role, Staci held leadership positions at various professional licensing and registration boards and industry credentialing organizations in Washington, DC. An active member of the Council on Licensure, Enforcement & Regulation (CLEAR) for nearly 15 years, Staci served two terms on the CLEAR Board of Directors and was instrumental in helping the board develop the CLEAR diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy and advance this topic for CLEAR’s programming. She continues to participate on various program committees and serves as the inaugural chair of the newly established CLEAR DEI Committee. Staci is also a consultant, working with clients to establish actionable plans in support of their inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility strategy. She earned a Certified Public Manager designation from The George Washington University, holds master’s degrees from Walden University and Nyack College, and completed a certificate program in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from the University of South Florida, Muma School of Business. Staci is currently pursuing a doctorate in Public Policy and Public Administration with a concentration in Public Leadership and DRI accountability at Walden University.
