Rebecca Arnold LeBuhn (Becky) is a co-founder and Chair of the Board of the Citizen Advocacy Center (CAC). Active in the public interest community, Ms. LeBuhn is a professional writer who has advised numerous governmental, business, and public interest organizations. She has been the President of the National Consumers League and of the Continental Association of Funeral and Memorial Societies and was the first public member of the District of Columbia Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers. She served as the public member on the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), the Board of Directors of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (.IC.E.), the Board of the American Board of Radiology Foundation, and the Board of Directors of ASTM International. She is currently a public member of the American Board of Medical Specialties’ Stakeholder Council and the public member of the board of directors of the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. She is a member of the board of the International Society for the Advancement of Continuing Competence. Ms. LeBuhn received the 2020 Mary Macomber Service Award from the Institute for Credentialing Excellence. She earned her B.A. in Economics and Government at Wells College and her M.A. in Soviet Studies at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
