Influencer marketing is a form of social media marketing that integrates endorsements from spokespersons who have a level of knowledge or experience with a product or service as firsthand testimonials. In credentialing, certificants can serve as spokespersons by speaking from their personal experience about the value and benefits of pursuing and maintaining certification.
Annually, BPS recruits up to five certified pharmacist specialists to highlight the value of BPS Board Certification and the impact it has on their career, whether through improvements in patient care, interprofessional teams, employer perception, professional development, or career advancement. BPS recognizes the diversity of the pharmacy profession and wishes to amplify these narratives.
In this session, you will learn some of the best practices for recruiting and engaging the selected ambassadors as well as the training format that BPS offers to help them share their story while communicating the value of certification from their perspective, and inspiring others to pursue and maintain certification.
