Alejandra Amador Garcia, Ph.D. has been a part of the credentialing industry since the early 2000s and has served in a variety of roles from exam developer, to psychometrician, to her current role as manager of certification content for all PMI credentials (a portfolio of close to 30 professional assessments). She has supported low and high stakes credentials in IT, k-12 education, adult education, as well as cross-industry credentials such as the PMP. She has published works in both peer reviewed journals and books on the topics of standard settings, educational assessments, and international education. She received her M.S. degree in Industrial-Organizational psychology from FIU and her education Ph.D. in REMP (research in educational measurement and psychometrics) from the UMASS-Amherst.
