Oversees risk mitigation, legal, technology testing, and human resources for the AAVSB. Previously, Nancy oversaw all of the AAVSB programs and services with extensive experience in the exam development process with the Veterinary Technician National Examination, Program for the Assessment of Veterinary Education Equivalence for Veterinarians, and state and provincial jurisprudence assessments. Serving as the first Assistant Director of The Lion and Lamb Peace Arts Center, Nancy was integral in developing programs and storytelling promoting peace and diversity through the arts and literature for children. Programs were given at schools, professional educator and librarian conferences, churches, and community organizations throughout the Midwest. She was an elementary teacher in both Ohio and Kansas City. At Xerox, Nancy served as the People Development Manager which included human resources and training in a five-state region for 300 employees within the business division. Prior to joining the AAVSB, Nancy was the Human Resources Director at a 300 employee long term healthcare facility in Kansas City. She has made presentations at the annual conferences of I.C.E. , ATP, and the Association of Veterinary Technician Educators. Nancy earned a B.A. in Elementary Education from Bluffton University and a M.B.A. from MidAmerica Nazarene University.
