Carl Hokanson, LGSW, serves as the examination development director at the Association of Social Work Boards. Carl has a long history of involvement with the ASWB examination program as an item writer and Examination Committee member and co-chair. He joined the ASWB staff in 2020. Before joining the ASWB staff, Carl managed the social work department at a medical facility in St. Paul, Minnesota, for many years and was a field supervisor for social work interns.
