Joe Betts, PhD, EdS, MMIS, has been involved in test development and psychometrics for over 20 years. Currently, he is the Director of Measurement and Testing in the Exams Department at the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN). He's had diverse experiences in test development with work ranging from professional examinations for licensure/certification, educational assessment for pre-K through high school, to clinical and cognitive assessments. He’s published numerous professional manuscripts and over 100 professional presentations across fields of education, psychology, statistics, psychometrics, and test development.
