Matthew joined CAMICB in November 2018 as the director of credentialing services and became the executive director of CAMICB in April 2023. As the director of credentialing services, Matthew oversaw the accreditation and quality assurance activities for the CMCA credentialing program, which earned reaccreditation under the National Commission of Certifying Agencies in 2020 and initial accreditation under ISO/IEC 17024 in 2021.
Before starting with CAMICB, Matthew focused on government affairs, specializing in state and local affairs. From January 2011 through November 2018, Matthew was the Director of State Affairs for the Community Associations Institute. Here advocated on behalf of the more than 68 million residents and employees of condominium and homeowners associations.
Matthew is an active member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE). He holds the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential and serves as a micro volunteer for ASAE. He serves on the ICE Government Affairs Committee.
Matthew earned his Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Social Sciences from Colorado State University.
